Oftentimes brands need to use multiple sources to produce their collection, which can make product sourcing more complicated.
That’s where T.K. Garment Co., Ltd. can make life a lot easier. The company makes both knits and wovens, and can do tops and bottoms. In other words, if a brand wants it, T.K. Garment can produce it.
The company has two factories in Thailand and one in Cambodia with a total monthly capacity of nearly one million pieces so it can handle a range of order sizes, as well as different price points.
“We are a 100% OEM business and are committed to continuing with this business model,” said Sittichoke Jaturajaroenkhun, noting that while many manufacturers were launching their own brands, T.K. Garment was not going in that direction.
“Although we make products according to our customers’ specifications, in recent years we realized that we need to start learning more about innovation. So we’ve been studying the market and learning everything we can about new products and new technical developments so we could provide better service to our customers, he said.
Quantity Backed By Quality
Despite the size and range of its production capabilities, T.K. Garment recognizes the importance of producing high quality products. One of the ways that it ensures quality is by using fabric and yarn made from U.S. cotton.
“Other factories and brands in Thailand told me about the quality of U.S. cotton. From my own research I could see that the properties of U.S. cotton were much better than cotton from other countries. U.S. cotton also is grown using more sustainable agriculture methods. So I decided that this would be something very good that I could offer my customers,” said Mr. Jaturajaroenkhun.
“We are a 100% OEM business with a goal of providing customers with the best service, best quality and most reliable deliveries.”

T.K. Garment manufacturers for the domestic market, as well as exporting to Japan and Italy – where quality standards are very high.
The company has the advantage of having a complete supply within Thailand, making it easy to source fabrics and get fast delivery.
Transparency Is Now Key
Once of the many hurdles that buyers face these days is being able to prove that their supply chains are sustainable and compliant. Doing this can be quite challenging – especially for apparel where the supply chain is complex.
To support its customers in having the right data, at the right time, T.K. Garment has recently become a member of the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol® (the Trust Protocol).
“We know that the situation has changed and that buyers need a lot more information now to support their claims that they are sustainable and to prove where they source their products and the raw materials. We felt that by becoming a Trust Protocol member we could do our part in supporting them with this,” said Mr. Jaturajaroenkhun.
Future Forward
Recently, T.K. Garment has expanded into the uniform business. This new sector will enable the company to use its strengths as a reliable, sustainable and high quality manufacturer to serve more customers – or to help current customers expand their business.
“We are not looking to launch our own brand, but instead are committed to being an OEM manufacturer. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best quality, the best service and the most reliable delivery,” said Mr. Jaturajaroenkhun.
The company continues to invest in new machines and stays up-to-date on new materials. Recently T.K. Garment hired a consultant to help them improve their production line and their equipment.
“We are focusing on finding new ways so that we can keep improving, whether that is through new technology or more efficient manufacturing processes to increase productivity,” he said.

Certified Sustainable
The Trust Protocol is aligned with existing sustainability programs including the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals. It brings quantifiable and verifiable goals and measurement to sustainable cotton production, and drives continuous improvement in six key sustainability metrics – land use, soil carbon, water management, soil loss, greenhouse gas emissions, and energy efficiency. The Trust Protocol is designed from the ground up to address the unique regulatory and larger farm growing environment in the United States.
How the Trust Protocol Works
The Protocol Consumption Management Solution (PCMS) starts at the gin when the participating producer’s cotton is ginned and each unique Permanent Bale Identification number (PBI) is attached. At this point we know the exact gin weight and can create an exact amount of Protocol Cotton Consumption Units, where one Protocol Cotton Consumption Unit is created for each kilogram of Protocol Verified Cotton. This important step provides absolute authentication of U.S. cotton origin, verifying against the USDA database.
Supply Chain Transparency
The PCMS harnesses blockchain technology through a powerful combination of the Trust Protocol platform and TextileGenesis™ system to deliver full supply chain transparency by recording and verifying the movement of U.S. cotton along the entire supply chain. This creates article-specific transparency for finished products that was not previously accessible to brands and retailers.
Trusted Third Party Certification
The Trust Protocol incorporates a comprehensive program of verification against Trust Protocol benchmarks, in the form of both second-party and independent third-party audits of grower performance through Control Union Certifications—the latter through allocated on-site visits.
Control Union Certifications has certified over 150 industry standards programs worldwide, including working as a key partner in the early development and piloting phases of Impact Claim Verification Protocol.
