New clothing is not just practical - it is also symbolic of a fresh start. When we were growing up we typically got new clothing or shoes for back-to-school. When spring time came, people bought something new for Easter or Chinese New Year - which coincide with spring months in many parts of the world. While there is likely to be hybrid working arrangements in place - some combination of work from home and work in the office - it’s no longer realistic to spend morning till night in loungewear, yoga gear or a T-shirt and shorts. Humans have, by nature, some degree of vanity and personal pride will urge people to dress up or at least dress better. Comfort remains important, however comfortable does not have to mean slovenly. A beautiful knit sweater from made from high quality cotton or merino wool can be just as comfortable as a hoodie. The difference is that it looks smart, not sloppy.
MATERIALS

Crisp, clean cotton - it practically defines ‘freshness’

Fine count knits with subtle texture resulting from stitch constructions.

A touch of shimmer - very subtle.

Fine wool suiting with very clean surfces.

COLOR & PATTERNColor plays a key role and is showing in softer shades of brights in less usual combinations.
Pattern is important with relaxed abstract designs adding interest to knitwear and woven tops and dresses.
