/ Companies are realizing that remote working is taking a serious toll on creativity and innovation.
Walmart recently announced that it was cutting hundreds of corporate jobs and relocating most of its US and Canada-based remote workers to work in Walmart offices. The move is part of a dynamic shift by companies that are looking to slim down management and rev up their teams.
In late 2023, VF Corp announced it was cutting 500 employees, mainly from its headquarters. Earlier this year Levi Strauss said it plans layoffs of 10% to 15% of its global workforce to cut costs.
As more companies made this a new reality for workers, others are following their lead.
