THE SITUATION IN OCTOBER

Many importers and factories are enjoying a moment of relief having gotten orders shipped early – ahead of what could be rising issues around logistics. 

From a potential US dockworkers strike (which luckily ended in just a few days!) to escalating tensions in the Middle East, most brands opted to err on the side of caution.  It looks like this has been a wise move.

At the same time, the decision to adopt a more conservative strategy on order sizes is likely to play to many retailers’ favor.
