There was a time when Armani was one of the hottest designer brands. So hot in fact that it seemed everyone on the planet wanted something Armani. The brand’s ‘cool factor’ literally defined one of the most sought after looks during the late ‘90’s and early 2000’s.
That led to an Armani empire including a range of licensed products, as well as the roll out of several line extensions or ‘diffusion lines’. One of which was Emporio Armani, an entry point for consumers who were priced out of Armani’s designer and even ‘better’ labels.
But that was back then.
What happened to this once-popular brand? And what can be done to get it back on track?
