Talk to many people in the apparel industry and they’ll tell you that right now Türkiye’s capacity is full.  However, talk to people in the industry in Türkiye, and they say that there is plenty of capacity available. In fact, many factories are looking for orders.

According to local sources, dye houses and woven mills were at about 69 percent capacity in January 2024. Weak demand in global markets led to a 14 percent decrease in textiles and garments in 2023.
