/ The US has completed another round of talks with China and many ASEAN nations – but the final terms are still being worked out.
Tariffs on Chinese imports have been partially reduced, with the overall average falling approximately 10% after the new agreement with China, per a White House statement.
Additional frameworks were signed with Malaysia and Cambodia, and ongoing negotiations with Thailand and Vietnam signal new trade alignments. However, most categories from Cambodia and Malaysia did not secure major reductions from the existing 19–20% tariffs on US-bound goods.
