As the threat of punishing tariff levels hangs over the head of any brand selling into the US, companies are crafting strategies for how they will deal with the costs – and still remain in business.
Few have definitive plans since the situation continues to change. However most brands have drawn up a framework for managing increased costs – much of which will not be passed on to the consumer, nor absorbed by suppliers.
