AI’s presence on the industrial scene has done what even digitization wasn’t able to do. It got every CEO to take a serious look at how they could automate their operations. Not just talking about, but actually taking steps to evaluate their organizations’ processes.
However, we’re now seeing a slowdown in the AI hype cycle and that’s caused some speculation around where we are going with automation overall. A growing number of observers now question the limitations of large language models that power services such as ChatGPT.
While end user companies still see the value that AI can provide to some areas of their businesses, they are also moving more cautiously.
