THE SITUATION IN DECEMBER
The holiday season looks to be ‘better than expected’ but certainly not likely to break any records. In other words, “in line with expectations.”
The good news is that brands and retailers were cautious when ordering so they’ll be heading into the new season without the burden of massive amounts of clearance merchandise.
From what we are seeing, Q1 orders remain very small as brands move carefully to restock fairly empty warehouses.
