Few Winners in a Tough Market
NOVEMBER OUTLOOK: We don’t like to be pessimistic, but it is difficult to put a positive spin on the state of apparel retail worldwide.
Some of it comes down to market conditions. Global economic factors that are beyond the control of any brand or retailer.
But, there’s also the backlash from years of strategic errors that some brands and retailers have made. That could be over expansion. Chasing too many shiny objects. Or, most typically, not listening to the consumer.
