Using Physics to Power Better Thermal Regulation

One of the newest developments in ‘smart’ clothing uses a new lightweight material which traps thermal energy when dry, and then opens a series of tiny vents to let heat escape when the wearer begins to sweat.

The vents then close again to retain heat once they are dry.
