The retailer plans to re-open some of its stores. <h3><strong>Gymboree</strong></h3> <strong>Filed Bankruptcy:</strong> January 2019 <strong>Stores Slated for Closure:</strong> 800 <strong>Months in bankruptcy: </strong> 2 months <strong>Rebound:</strong> March 2019 it sold its brands to The Children’s Place and its Janie and Jack chain to Gap. <h3><strong>Forever 21</strong></h3> Filed Bankruptcy: September 2019 Stores slated to close: 850+ worldwide Months in bankruptcy: about about 7 months Rebound: February 2020 the retailer agreed to an acquistion by Authentic Brands Group and Simon Properties. <h3><strong>Diesel </strong></h3> <strong>Filed Bankruptcy:</strong> March 2019 <strong>Stores Closed:</strong> 28 <strong>Rebound:</strong> The bankruptcy filing was only for Diesel USA, Inc, the US arm of Italy’s Diesel SpA. The brand has no plans to close. The company is out of bankruptcy has been renamed Premier Brands.
