Biodegradable Cotton Fusible Interlining

Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel (Germany)  has introduced their new biodegradable fusible cotton shirt interlinings range 46xx (in Asia, the series is marketed under the name 42xx series). The product’s biodegradability and non-toxicity has been approved by Hohenstein Laboratories and is certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Class II for successfully testing for no harmful substances.

The new biodegradable shirt interlinings can potentially contribute to energy saving, as the fusing can be performed at a low temperature – at only 127°C instead of the commonly used temperature of 143°C. 

The shirt interlinings are washable at up to 40°C and resistant to dry cleaning.
