Possible EU Tariffs on US Goods Don’t Include Apparel

The WTO has ruled that the EU can impose around $4 billion worth of tariffs on US goods in retaliation for US subsidies of its Boeing aircraft.

The tariffs would be on products such as olivers, beer, gin, and aircraft parts.

Last October the WTO ruled that the U.S. can impose tariffs worth $7.5 billion on EU goods due to state aid given to Airbus.

The EU has retaliated with its own case against Boeing.
