A Challenging Market Highlights Which Brands are Truly Strong
From rising geopolitical issues to the shock of US reciprocal tariffs, the first nine months of 2025 has put more pressure on brands. Sales growth has slowed – or even stopped – for more brands. Profits are disappearing, despite efforts to cut costs.
And yet, some brands are continuing to grow. Not just the ones who have had so many bad quarters that it’s become almost impossible not to beat year-ago performance.
Strong brands, those that stay focused on what their customer wants and understand the critical role of quality in the ‘value for dollar’ equations, are continuing to grow – even if that growth is slower now.
