As the health pandemic continues to evolve, Crystal International Group’s (Hong Kong) factories in China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have strictly implement comprehensive measures to control the epidemic situation and prevent the spread of virus in the company’s factories.
The factories have taken stringent disinfection measures and regular cleaning in all areas. Anti-epidemic facilities, including instant hand sanitisers and covered bins for discarded masks were installed in all factories. Besides, vehicles are sprayed with disinfectant upon entry. Lanes with disinfectant sprayers were also set up for those who need them.
Stringent temperature checking of employees and visitors was imposed.
All employees are required to have temperatures measured by using handheld thermometers upon entry. Some factories have adopted advanced 5G infrared device for temperature measurement which greatly enhanced the efficiency of entry.
Those with high temperatures, they are required to conduct medical checks and are sent to the hospital if necessary.
All factories also adopted stringent visitor control guidelines. Visitors are required to fill in medical and travel history declaration form.
Outdoor reception rooms have been set up.
The factories have stocked and provided masks to employees. Medical glasses and medical gloves were provided to security guards, medical staff and employees who were in need.
Quarantine zones and isolation areas were arranged. Bigger rooms were set up as waiting areas for employees who needed to be monitored, further checked or interviewed for their travel and meeting history. Separate quarantine rooms were also set up to quarantine the suspected cases of COVID-19 symptoms waiting to be sent to the hospital for further check-up. The health of the quarantined workers had been closely monitored. Any suspected case must be reported immediately for early detection and isolation.
Dining tables were equipped with partition boards with precaution guidelines affixed on it. The content of the precaution guidelines on partitions is about wearing mask, washing hands, eliminating hang out, etc. Employees queued with interval on the line and the seating areas were separated to avoid crowds. The hygiene management in canteens were also enhanced through regular disinfection and cleaning.
To raise workers’ awareness of precautionary measures and to introduce the knowledge of preventing the epidemic, different promotional materials including educational posters, leaflets and promotional videos were placed around the factory especially the public areas. These information could be reached as well through company’s mobile apps, social media and bulletins. Instructions on washing hands and wearing masks were communicated via radio and PA systems.
Briefings and trainings about the preventive measures were conducted to factory management, staff and workers through meetings, radio system, mobile app, etc.
