Bangladesh Factories Reopen with Safety Measures in Place

Bangladesh began reopening factories last week after a month long shut down.

Most have mapped out safety protocol ranging from mandatory wearing of face masks to hand washing and social distancing.

As with nations around the world, Bangladesh is feeling both economic and social pressure to lift the lockdown.

Particularly in countries where people live in densely populated cities, and housing is smaller quarters with many people living closely together, the idea of ‘sheltering at home’ is not quite as practical as it is in places where people have a lot more personal space.

In fact, many people are better off at work where they are provided with face masks and hand sanitizer.  And where social distancing is actually possible.
